Emil Nassapov
Emil Nassapov was part of a group of Bulgarians who taught them baseball in the 1980s by translating a rulebook. He helped found the Akademik team, the Sofia Blues and the Bulgarian Baseball Federation. His son Dimitar Nassapov became the country's top player.
