Eladio Reverón
Eladio Reverón was a catcher for the Venezuelan national team in the 1952 Amateur World Series, 1953 Amateur World Series and 1954 Central American and Caribbean Games. In the latter event, he tied Dario Rubenstein, Jose Matos and Alfredo Rios for the most runs in the tournament (9) and tied Ramiro Caballero and Matos for the most RBI (10). Venezuela won their first Gold in a Central American and Caribbean Games in baseball. He hit .387 in the 1955 Pan American Games and Venezuela got the Bronze. Reverón never played baseball professionally.
