Biographical Information

Edwin Jimenez was a backup outfielder for the Philippines national team in the 2013 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers. In his lone game, he pinch-hit for Andres Vazquez with a 11-0 deficit against Taiwan and was retired by Yu-Kang Fu. He stayed in at DH but was batted for by Rommel Roja his next time up. He wasn't the lone Iowa Wesleyan alumnus in that qualifier - Aaron Campbell played for New Zealand.
