Edgar Tovar (amateur)
Edgar Tovar was an infielder for the Venezuelan national team in the 1986 Amateur World Series, 1986 Central American and Caribbean Games (Bronze Medal), 1987 Pan American Games and 1990 Baseball World Cup. In the 1990 World Cup, he hit .276/.300/.345 with four runs and two RBI in eight games while handling 21 chances error-free; he started at 3B for Venezuela and backed up in LF.
