Edgar M. Estivison Anderson

Edgar Estivison is a Panamanian umpire. He has worked some international events, including the 2007 Baseball World Cup, 2008 Olympics, 2009 World Baseball Classic, 2011 Baseball World Cup, 2013 World Baseball Classic, 2015 Premier 12 and 2017 World Baseball Classic.

In the 2007 World Cup, he made a controversial call in Australia's 7-6 win over Canada. In the bottom of the 9th, Australian SS Brad Harman bobbled a ball while touching second base during a potential double play; Estivison made the call for an out despite the circumstances. Before Canadian manager Terry Puhl could come out to argue, the umpires had left the field.
