Biographical Information[edit]
Eddy Talavera did not debut with the Nicaraguan national team until he was 38, when they won Gold in the 2006 Central American Games. He hit .385/~.435/.500 in the 2006 Central American and Caribbean Games, finishing second on Nicaragua in average. He hit .235/.297/.412 as a regular in LF and CF in that year's Americas Qualifiers for the 2008 Olympics. In the 2007 Pan American Games, the Granada native was 0 for 13 with a walk and a run. He went 1 for 8 with a walk and 3 runs in the 2008 Americas Baseball Cup.
