Biographical Information[edit]
Catcher Eddie Stumpf played in the minors from 1916 to 1919. While managing, he also got into one game for the Janesville Cubs in 1941. He then moved into the front offices of various teams in Milwaukee, Tarboro, Janesville, Cleveland, Indianapolis, and Chicago.
Stumpf managed the 1939 Tarboro Serpents, 1941-1942 Janesville Cubs, 1943 Rockford Peaches, and 1945 Kenosha Comets. He was the GM of the 1953 Indianapolis Indians.
