Biographical Information[edit]
Eddie Serrano played several years in the minors.
Serrano hit .159/.270/.159 for the 2000 AZL Padres as a backup second baseman. In 2001, he batted .324/.351/.441 in 20 games for the Idaho Falls Padres and was 5 for 17 with a double, homer and two walks for the Eugene Emeralds. Come 2002, Eddie was playing 74 games as a utility man for the Fort Wayne Wizards and hitting .220/.267/.321.
In 2003, the Panamanian infielder hit .227/.298/.245 for the Wizards and went 2 for 14 for the Lake Elsinore Storm. He was 6 for 17 with four walks for the Storm in 2004 to conclude his minor league career. He played for the Panamanian national team that won the 2009 Bolivarian Games and 2010 Central American Games and also was with them in the 2010 Central American and Caribbean Games.
