Biographical Information[edit]
Eddie Phillips played six years in the major leagues for six different teams, all as a catcher. He also appeared in 35 games with the 1932 Newark Bears who won 109 games.
He managed the Wilkes-Barre Barons in 1939, the Richmond Colts in 1940-41, the Greenville Spinners in 1942, and the Hagerstown Owls 1943.
