Biographical Information[edit]
Ed Yewell played just one season in the major leagues: 1884 for the Washington Nationals and one game for the Washington team in the Union Association.
In 1883 he played for the Waverly club of Washington and later for the National club of Washington. In 1885 he was also with the National club.
Sporting Life of July 3, 1889 indicated that he was part of a new club, called the National Base Ball Club, formed in June.
