Biographical Information[edit]
Ed Yarnall, who was in the majors in 1999 and 2000, was still pitching in 2006 in Triple A ball with the Omaha Royals. He had a 3.19 ERA, mostly in relief. Most of his career, which started in the minors in 1997, has been as a starter, and his minor league record from 1997-2006 is 68-60 (including 2001 and 2002, which he spent in Japan).
Yarnall had a 8.74 ERA in the 1992 World Junior Championship, allowing 17 hits and 6 walks in 11 innings. In the 1993 World Junior Championship, Yarnall was 2-0 with a 2.79 ERA for the US, leading the Silver Medalists in victories.
