Biographical Information

Pitcher Ed Connolly is the son of catcher Ed Connolly. Seeing action in parts of two seasons, Junior finished with a 6-12, 5.88 record in 42 games. His moment in the sun came on September 15, 1964, when he struck out 12 Kansas City Athletics in pitching a two-hit shutout, winning 8-0 at Fenway Park.
