Biographical Information[edit]
On October 30, 2021, Dylan Lee started Game 4 of the 2021 World Series against the Houston Astros. That made him the first pitcher in history to make his first career start in a World Series game. Not that he had much major league experience to begin with, as he had only made his debut on the first day of the month when the major league season was winding down, but the Braves needed an opener for the game. It was a very abbreviated start, as he faced just four batters, walking two and allowing a hit, before being replaced by Kyle Wright with one out and the bases loaded. He ended up giving up a single run, thanks to some excellent work by Wright.
Notable Achievements[edit]
- Won one World Series with the Atlanta Braves in 2021
