Vincent Clawson

Vince Clawson was 4-16 as a minor league pitcher. Dutch began his career with the 1936 Hopkinsville Hoppers (0-1), split the next year between the Rayne Rice Birds and Wausau Lumberjacks, then moved to the Grand Forks Chiefs in 1938. That year, he only went 1-7, tying him for the worst winning percentage in the Northern League. He had a 6.90 RA. That year, he killed batter Skeeter Ebnet with a pitch in a July contest.

Clawson remained with Grand Forks in 1939 and split 1940 between Grand Forks and the Winnipeg Maroons, Ebnet's old outfit. He also hurled that year for the Sheboygan Indians (3-5, 3.95). He concluded his career in 1941 with Sheboygan and the LaCrosse Blackhawks (a combined 2-3, 7.57 mark).
