Biographical Information

Drew Macias was drafted by the San Diego Padres as a draft-and-follow in the 35th round of the 2002 amateur draft. After another year of junior college he was signed by scout Chris Gwynn in 2003 and made his pro debut that summer.

Macias was the last player to make his major league debut in 2007, when he scored a run as a pinch runner on September 29th, the penultimate game played by the Padres that season.
