Douglas Charchal has pitched for the Guatemalan national team.

Charchal pitched one game in the 2013 Bolivarian Games. Relieving Alejandro Amezquita against eventual champion Panama, he worked 2 1/3 IP and allowed five hits, a walk and two runs; Erick Bautista relieved him and finished up a 14-1 loss. He pitched two games in the 2014 Central American and Caribbean Games, giving up two hits, a walk and no runs in one inning while fanning one.
