Biographical Information

Catcher Donn Koch played in the minor leagues for the 1981 GCL White Sox and the 1982 Appleton Foxes.

Koch was selected by the Chicago White Sox in the 20th round of the 1981 amateur draft. He hit .313/.401/.373 in 55 games for the 1981 GCL White Sox and .260/.369/.363 in 85 games for the 1982 Appleton Foxes. In 1981, he finished 6th in the Gulf Coast League in batting average but failed to make the All-Star team when Mitchell Ashmore was picked at catcher.

Koch is a member of the Florida Southern College Baseball Hall of Fame.
