Biographical Information[edit]
Dong-hwa Han managed and coached in the Korea Baseball Organization.
Han played for the South Korean national team in the 1965 Asian Championship, 1969 Asian Championship, 1971 Asian Championship and 1973 Asian Championship. He later coached Shinil High School from 1976 to 1979, and he also coached Choongam High School. When the KBO was founded in 1982, Han was named the fielding coach of the MBC Blue Dragons. He then became their base running coach from 1983 to 1984, and he was the interim manager from June 19 to June 23, 1983. Han went to the Chungbo Pintos as their minor league manager from 1986 to 1987, and he coached MBC in 1988. The Lotte Giants named him their bench coach in 1990, and he went to the Ssangbangwool Raiders as their bench coach in 1993. He became the manager of the Raiders from 1994 to 1995, and he coached Shinil High School from 1996 to 1999. Han managed the Beijing Tigers in 2008.
