Biographical information[edit]

Don Fox was the son of baseball player Pete Fox. He was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the third round of the January 1966 amateur draft, a few picks ahead of catcher Randy Bobb. He was a right-handed pitcher who spent one year in the minor leagues. For the Covington Red Sox and Waterloo Hawks in 1966, he was 1-1 with a 7.41 ERA in 9 games (1 start).
