Biographical Information

Don Brown was selected by the Cincinnati Reds in the 15th round of the 1985 amateur draft and began his pro career that summer with the GCL Reds. Following the 1989 season, he was traded to the New York Mets along with John Franco for Randy Myers and Kip Gross. He split 1990 between the Mets and Baltimore Orioles organizations, hitting just .155 in 65 games in his final pro season.
