Biographical Information[edit]
Domingo Jean pitched ten games for the New York Yankees in 1993, a team that went 88-74. He is the answer to the trivia question: "Who was the last Yankee to wear #42 before Mariano Rivera?"
Jean was born in San Pedro de Macoris, D.R. and was signed by the Chicago White Sox as a free agent in 1989. He pitched fourteen years in the minors, from 1990-2003.
In 1991 he went 12-8 for the South Bend White Sox. He was converted to relief around 1995 and in 1996 had 31 saves for the Chattanooga Lookouts. In 2003 he played in Mexico with the Langosteros de Cancun.
