Biographical Information[edit]

Outfielder Dom Abbadessa was taken by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 23rd round of the 2016 amateur draft; he began his professional career that year. After a poor start, he hit .331/.393/.397 in 40 games spent mostly in the Gulf Coast League in his second campaign. He followed that with a .311/.366/.420 line with 18 steals in 59 games for the Bluefield Blue Jays in 2018, before slipping toward the Mendoza Line in his first extended trial at Single A ball in 2019.
