Biographical Information[edit]
Albert "Doc" Waldbauer pitched five innings for the 1917 Washington Senators. At age 25, he was four years younger than teammate Walter Johnson.
Waldbauer was born in Richmond, VA in 1892. He may have attended Leigh School as a child in Richmond, and in 1916 may have married a woman named Myrtle Ahern.
