Biographical Information

Dick Triptow played in the minor leagues in 1944 and from 1946 to 1947. His first year, he batted .312 with 89 hits in 71 games for the Erwin Cubs. He later became head coach at Lake Forest College, serving from 1959 to 1966. He replaced Walter Lemm and was replaced by Mike Dau.
