Biographical Information[edit]
Dick Hahn served in the U.S. Navy during World War II (BN). He caught 1 game for the Washington Senators on September 7, 1940. He had three at-bats that day against pitcher Johnny Babich of the Philadelphia Athletics.
Dick played nine years in the minors. In 1940, he had played for the Charlotte Hornets before coming to the Senators in September. With the Hornets, Dick hit .288 and while he usually had little power in the minors, that year he hit 22 home runs.
In 1951 he managed the Enterprise Boll Weevils for part of the season.
