Des Plaines, IL
Des Plaines is a suburb of Chicago, located to the northwest of the city, immediately north of O'Hare Airport. It is the final resting place of Hall of Famer Gabby Hartnett and former player and manager Lew Fonseca, who are buried in All Saints Cemetery. Des Plaines is also the location of the first McDonald's restaurant built by eventual San Diego Padres owner Ray Kroc, which was for many years a museum.
