Derwin McNealy Jr.

Derwin McNealy Jr. became a college head coach in 2010. He is the son of longtime minor leaguer Derwin McNealy Sr. and nephew of former minor leaguer Darryl McNealy.

Derwin Jr. hit .297/.368/.467 with a team-high 43 RBI in 48 games in 2004; he was a first baseman. He stayed on at Arkansas-Pine Bluff as an assistant in 2005 and 2006. After a couple years in corporate America, McNealy was assistant coach at Westlake High School in 2008-2009. He became head coach of Clark Atlanta University in 2010, a role he held through 2014.
