Biographical Information

Dennis Pugh was head coach of Mission Bay High School from 1980-2006, winning 18 league titles and one state title; he produced Matt Bush and Henry Sanchez. He also coached two football league titlists there. He then became the first head coach at California State University, San Marcos, going 158-112-2 in his first six years. He retired in 2016, but returned to Mission Bay High as head coach in 2017.
