Dennis Ryland James

Dennis James began his career by leading the 1966 Pioneer League with a 1.75 ERA. He struggled in 1967 with the Albuquerque Dodgers (4-4, 6.12 ERA, 46/42 BB/SO). He was hit even harder in 5 IP with Albuquerque in 1968 (14.40 ERA), and moved down to the Bakersfield Dodgers the rest of the year (5-6, 4.07 ERA). Despite this he was listed on the spring roster for the 1969 Los Angeles Dodgers, but he never pitched in the majors.
