Biographical Information

Dennis Higgins pitched for four big league teams in 7 years, seeing most action with the Washington Senators in 1969 and the Cleveland Indians in 1970. He appeared in 241 games, starting only two (one in his first season and one in his last). He had seasons of 13, 16 and 11 saves from 1968 to 1970.

Higgins is the cousin of third baseman Joe Crede.
