Biographical Information[edit]
Dee Miles was a backup outfielder from Alabama who played seven seasons in the American League. Many of his at-bats were with the Philadelphia Athletics from 1939 to 1941 when he regularly hit .300.
He was the fourth outfielder in 1939 and 1940, and the fifth outfielder in 1941 when Eddie Collins, son of the Hall of Famer, was the fourth outfielder.
