Biographical Information

Dean Stiles was a high school administrator, teacher, and coach in Oregon and California for more than 20 years. He coached at Tualitin High School, Crook County High School, Summit High School, and St. Joseph High School.

Stiles was an administrative assistant for the University of Oregon baseball team in 2009-2010. He was head coach at Lane Community College in 2011. He then returned to Oregon as a Volunteer assistant pitching coach in 2012-2015. He was pitching coach at Florida International University in 2016 and San Jose State University in 2017.

Stiles is also an assistant pitching coach for the Eugene Emeralds in 2015. He returned to pro ball as pitching coach of the Ogden Raptors in 2018-2019, and managed the team in 2021. Stiles was pitching coach of the West Michigan Whitecaps in 2022.
