Biographical Information

David García was on the Honduran national team in the 2010 Central American Games. In the 2017 Central American Games, he allowed four hits, five walks and four runs (all earned) in 2 1/3 IP in a loss to former major leaguer Davis Romero and Panama. He had another tough assignment in the 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games Central American Qualifier, facing Nicaragua (which would sweep the field easily), dropping a decision to Ronald Medrano. He was 0-1 with a 5.40 ERA in the event and his seven walks issued were second-most, two behind Pablo Barquero.
