Biographical Information[edit]
Third baseman David Flores was drafted by the Houston Astros in the 18th round of the 2008 amateur draft. He played in the Astros' chain through 2011, reaching AA.
Flores returned to California State University, Sacramento as an assistant coach in 2015-2016. He became a minor league coach with the Clinton LumberKings in 2017 and DSL Mariners in 2018-2019. He then returned to Sac State yet again as an assistant coach in 2020.
