Biographical Information[edit]
Second baseman Davey Williams played his entire career with the New York Giants and was a Giants coach after his career ended. He was in two World Series, in 1951 and 1954, and one All-Star Game, in 1953.
He played five years in the minors before he came to the majors for good, and always hit at least .280 in the minors.
He was a player-manager for the Dallas Rangers of the Texas League in 1958.
