Biographical Information[edit]
Dave Pano played high school baseball against future Toronto Blue Jays General Manager J.P. Ricciardi. After playing on the Eckerd College baseball team, Pano spent time as a scout for the New York Yankees and Pittsburgh Pirates.
Pano was the head coach at St. Petersburg College from 1998 to 2010.
In 2002-2004 he was a coach for the Auburn Doubledays. Pano managed of the Pulaski Blue Jays of the Appalachian League in 2005-2006. Pano managed the GCL Blue Jays in 2008 and coached for the team in 2009-2010. Pano moved to the Vancouver Canadians in 2011-2017 as hitting coach and Lansing Lugnuts in 2018-2019 as position coach.
