Biographical Information[edit]

Outfielder Dave Masser played in the Kansas City Royals system after being drafted by the club in the fifth round of the 1971 amateur draft, a couple picks ahead of catcher Charlie Moore. In 54 games with the Kingsport Royals, he hit .170/.332/.235 with 10 stolen bases.

He also played basketball for Southern Colorado State College.

He later became a well-known softball player, appearing in six International Softball Congress tournaments.
