Biographical Information[edit]
Dave Krynzel hit .440 for the US in the 1999 World Junior Championship to help them win Gold. His 8 steals led the team and only Jeff Baker had a higher average among the regulars. Among those he outhit were Joe Mauer and Carlos Quentin.
Krynzel was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 1st round of the 2000 amateur draft. He was signed by scout Bruce Seid and made his pro debut that summer.
