Biographical Information

Dave Gray is the only major leaguer to come from Weber State University, where he was at in 1962 and 1963. At age 21, in 1964, he played for the Boston Red Sox. He had been signed in 1962.

With the Red Sox, he was three years younger than teammate Carl Yastrzemski and two years older than Tony Conigliaro.
