Biographical Information

Darwin Cubillan debuted in the Italian Baseball League on Opening Day 2011. He tossed three shutout innings in relief of Henry Bonilla to save a 3-0 win over Nettuno; he threw 55 pitches as he fanned five and walked three, while allowing only one hit. He finished the year with a 0.41 ERA, breaking Giulio Glorioso's 50-year-old ERA record of .46.
