Biographical Information[edit]

Darrell Rasner was drafted by the Montreal Expos in the 2nd round of the 2002 amateur draft. He was signed by scout Keith Snider and made his pro debut that summer. By the time he made his major league debut late in the 2005 season, the Expos had become the Washington Nationals.

Darrell signed with the Rakuten Golden Eagles for 2009. He was their #3 starter, getting his debut on April 5th. It was an unpleasant experience as he allowed 8 hits and 6 runs in 3 1/3 IP before getting yanked.

Rasner's cousin, Jacob Rasner, pitched in the minor leagues from 2005 to 2012.
