Biographical Information

Darlin Germán was the first baseman for the Dominican national team at the 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games. He hit .345/.367/.345 with one run and two RBI in seven games while fielding .985. He led the Dominicans with 10 hits, two ahead of Jhonatan Reynoso. Half his hits came in a win over Nicaragua. That he led the Dominicans in hits was unusual in that he never played in the minors while their other position players generally had hundreds of games in the minors.
