Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Danny Sauer was 1-6 with a 4.85 ERA in 15 relief appearances for the GCL Expos of the Montreal Expos system in 2000. In 29 2/3 innings, he allowed 28 hits and 34 walks (2.090 WHIP), while striking out 17 batters.

He was originally taken by the Texas Rangers in the 24th round of the 1999 amateur draft, a few picks ahead of pitcher Bill Murphy, but opted not to sign. He did sign after the Expos took him in the 30th round of the 2000 amateur draft, one pick ahead of infielder Edgar Gonzalez.
