Biographical Information

Danny Putnam tied for the most doubles (3) in the 2003 Pan American Games; the USA won the Silver Medal. He was drafted by the Oakland A's in the supplemental 1st round of the 2004 amateur draft. He was signed by scout Scott Kidd for a $950,000 bonus and made his pro debut that summer.
