Biographical Information[edit]
Danny Morris pitched for the Minnesota Twins in 1968 and 1969, as well as playing in the Twins' minor league organization from 1964-1972.
Also playing for the Twins in 1968 and 1969 was Graig Nettles, who was one year older than Danny. Graig was also on the same teams in Double A and Triple A ball as Danny.
Morris had a decent 2.81 ERA in the 16 innings he pitched in the majors. However, it wasn't easy to make the team in 1969, when the Twins won their division with 97 victories. Starters on the team included Jim Perry (20-6), Dave Boswell (20-12), and Jim Kaat (14-13).
