Biographical Information[edit]

Outfielder Danny Amaral reached AAA.

A native of San Jose, California, Amaral played in several minor leagues in the southeastern United States from 1936-1941. In 1942, he signed with the Portland Beavers of the Pacific Coast League and batted .308/.399/.392 before he shipped off in US Navy in early-July.  

When he returned in 1946, he played for Portland and Bremerton of the Western International League.  He conclude his career, back home, with San Jose of the California League.
