Biographical Information

Daniel Jaster is the younger brother of Larry Jaster and a pitcher like his brother. He is the uncle of Scott Jaster. Jaster pitched for the Raleigh Cardinals in 1965 (8-10 4.62 ERA), the Cedar Rapids Cardinals in 1966 (8-2 2.46 ERA) and the Arkansas Travelers in 1967 (2-8 4.36 ERA). He missed 1968 for military service and returned to Arkansas in 1969 (3-5 5.29 ERA). Jaster pitched for Arkansas (0-1 10.80 ERA 5 IP), the Tulsa Oilers (0-0 3.75 12 IP), and the Modesto Reds (3-0 3.81 52 IP) in 1970. 1971 found Jaster in AAA the whole year with Tulsa (10-1 4.50), as did 1972 (4-0 3.40).
