Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Daniel Davidson was selected by the Anaheim Angels in the 13th round of the 2003 amateur draft. He made his pro debut that year with the Provo Angels, going 8-2 with 50 strikeouts in 15 games and leading the Pioneer League with a 1.64 ERA. The next season, he was 12-7 with a 4.57 ERA for the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes and led the California League with 28 starts while finishing third in wins. In 2005, he was 13-5 with a 4.72 ERA for the Arkansas Travelers and was second in the Texas League in wins. He spent the majority of 2006 back with the Travelers, going 2-8 with a 5.64 ERA in 29 games for them, and also made four starts for the Salt Lake Bees, going 1-2 with a 5.79 ERA and 17 strikeouts. Davidson made only 7 appearances in 2007, posting a 2-4 record with a 2.06 ERA for Arkansas.

Davidson made his major league debut with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim on April 19 2009, pitching a perfect inning in relief.
