Daniel Bittar has played in the Italian Baseball League.
Bittar hit .371/.451/.636 with 35 runs and 34 RBI in 36 games for Rebecci Piacenza in the Italian minors in 2010. In 2011, he moved up to the IBL with Montepaschi Grosseto. He batted .319/.379/.469 with 19 runs and 19 RBI in 31 games. He fielded .888 at shortstop, his main position, while appearing at six different spots. For 2012, he moved to T&A San Marino. He produced at a .294/.316/.471 clip in the 2012 European Cup, with 7 RBI in 5 games, but San Marino failed to make the Final Four. He tied former Nippon Pro Baseball slugger G.G. Sato for 6th in the event in RBI.
