Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Dan Ramer spent seven years in the minor leagues, playing from 1950 to 1956. He never won less than ten games in a season, yet only briefly peaked at Triple A.

He spent most of his career in the Philadelphia Phillies system, though also spent time in the Detroit Tigers and Brooklyn Dodgers organizations. His season-by-season records were, respectively: 17-8, 15-5,14-5, 10-12, 12-15, 11-13 and 11-13. Overall, he was 90-71. In 1951, he led the Three-I League in winning percentage.
